SPOTLink is an inquiry based online Science learning & engagement platform exclusively reserved for SMART / BRIGHT SPOT’s intended to provide impactful programs to develop science literacy, build critical skills and foster joy of learning science.

All shortlisted students undertake virtual classroom sessions (4 full day sessions) on different science domains such as Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Biology etc.

In addition, SPOTLink promotes Inquiry learning approach (Interact – Explore – Discover) within BRIGHT SPOTS that leads them to ask questions, find solutions, understand scientific problems through effective guidance & mentorship by Academicians & Scientists.

Shortlisted students for both SMART & BRIGHT SPOT’s are provided with Individual ID & password to access SPOTLink.

The portal envisages the following,

• Create a virtual lab that offers science teachers and students the opportunity to conduct personalized scientific experiments with help of numerous innovative teaching tools and resources,
• Create a back-end database that actively seeks appropriate corporate partners based on user profile inputs that can help to make recommendations for potential matches – Making it easier for shortlisted students & teachers navigate corporate programs
  • Link shortlisted students & teachers with STEM partners (corporates, research labs etc.) to conduct real, appropriate, experiential & hands-on STEM learning through internships, projects, online classroom sessions, earth / nature observation, surveys, science expedition, and various other science related surveys etc.
• Reporting, assessment, and assistance tools to track the progress and outcomes of matches made in the system to establish educational impact of schools, Students & teachers
